Halfmoon-Waterford Fire District No. 1 - New Fire Station and Temporary Operations Facility
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE: the Halfmoon-Waterford Fire District intends to construct new fire station and temporary operations facility at 315 Middletown Road, Waterford, NY and is seeking separate sealed bids for General Construction, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Fire Protection. This is a public work project, prevailing wage rate where coordination of the schedule will be the responsibility of the General Contractor (GC).
Each sealed enclosure containing a bid is to be endorsed on the outside with the name, address and telephone number of the bidder and is to state that it contains a bid for the Halfmoon-Waterford Fire District No. 1 - New Fire Station including the specific contract being bid.
Bid security in the form of a 5% bid bond issued by an acceptable surety or bank or certified check payable to the Halfmoon-Waterford Fire District No. 1 is required. Bids must be in accordance with the terms, conditions, specifications and other bid documents for the project and must remain valid for forty-five (45) days. Bidding Documents are available for inspection at the following location by appointment only:

Complete digital sets of Plans, Specifications, Instructions for Bidders, Proposal and Contract Documents may be obtained online as a download for a nonrefundable fee of Forty-Nine Dollars ($49.00) at the following website: www.revplans.com beginning on August 5, 2020. Complete sets of hard copy Plans, Specifications, Instructions for Bidders, Proposal and Contract Documents may be obtained from REV, 330 Route 17A, Suite #2, Goshen, New York, 10924, tel: 1-877-272-0216. Any bidder requiring documents to be printed and shipped shall make arrangements with the printer and pay for all printing, packaging and shipping costs.
The successful bidder will be required to provide both a performance bond and a labor/material payment bond issued by acceptable sureties and to enter into a written contract with the Owner. A copy of the form of contract is included with the bid documents.
The Halfmoon-Waterford Fire District No. 1 reserves the right to reject any and all bids, re-advertise for new bids, and waive minor irregularities in bidding and to accept the bid that is best suited for the Owner.
Approximate Budget: $10 – 10.7 million
